Years ago, if you had told me I’d be shooting a destination wedding in Hawaii one day, I’d have called you crazy! I can’t even put into words how honored I am to have been trusted to photograph this celebration.
Although the wedding day at Kualoa Ranch was gorgeous enough to make any photographer swoon, one of the best decisions Blake and David made was to schedule a bonus day for pictures. With zero stress or time constraints, we drove all over the beautiful island of Oahu and shot epic photos at the Makapu’u Lookout, China Walls, Spitting Cave, a bamboo forest, and Magic Island. We even stopped for fish tacos! The bonus photo day was two days after the wedding, so the bride and groom had plenty of time to recover from the party, and spend one last day with their family and friends who had traveled so far to celebrate with them.
You’ll see the bridal details and preparations at The Surfjack hotel in Waikiki, the ceremony, portraits and reception at Kualoa Ranch, and then the grand finale- scenic photos from all over Oahu. Fix your favorite beverage, pull up a chair, and get comfy, because these Hawaii wedding photos go on and on!
If you’re still jonesin’ to see more, watch their wedding video here. It’s amazing.
