Kelly + Brandon – Colorado Wedding Photography @ Della Terra Mountain Chateau

Let me just start by saying this just may be the coolest thing that will ever happen in my career!

While staying in Manitou Springs, Colorado for a wedding I was shooting the next week, my sister Kayla and I decided to try and catch the sunrise at Garden of the Gods for photos.  The sun had just started to shine a warm glow onto the mountains, and I was tweaking my camera settings when a gentleman asked Kayla to snap a couple pictures of him and his girlfriend.  She snapped one photo, then he asked her to take “one more”.  As he started to turn toward his girlfriend, I knew exactly what was happening!!  I changed my camera settings faster than I ever have, and was lucky enough to capture this incredible moment!

With it being such a huge coincidence that a wedding photographer just happened to be there when they got engaged, we kept in touch, and before long I was asked to come back out to Colorado to photograph Kelly + Brandon’s WEDDING in Estes Park the next year!  Here are some highlights from their unforgettable day at Della Terra Mountain Chateau.
